History:

The Adriana is a type of boat commonly found along the Mediterranean coast: a wooden fishing boat with a lateen sail. The dredge, towed by a steel cable (a net bag or metal basket mounted on a frame), was generally used for harvesting shellfish such as scallops, oysters and mussels.
