Soleil Royal was the flagship of the French Sun King Louis XIV – a symbol of royal power and Baroque splendour. Built at Brest in 1669, she led the French fleet in major naval battles such as Beachy Head in 1690 and is still regarded as one of the most beautiful warships of her era.

With OcCre's Arsenal model of Soleil Royal, this masterpiece of shipbuilding is recreated in a strictly limited edition of only 669 numbered examples.

A true arsenal model

This construction method follows the original shipyard techniques of the 17th century. The internal structure remains visible: frames, deck beams and planking show how ships were actually built. Only premium materials such as lime wood, mahogany and oak are used, complemented by precision brass and cast-metal parts.
