Kittifix Extra Strong Heat-Resistant Spray Adhesive +110°C features exceptionally strong bonding performance and ensures permanent connections. The powerful spray adhesive is resistant to moisture and high temperatures up to 90°C (short-term up to 110°C). Its variable spray nozzle ensures convenient handling and allows easy regulation of the spray amount. Thanks to its versatile applications, it serves as a multipurpose helper in the household, hobbies, and trade.

Instructions for Use:
Shake the can before use and spray one side only onto a clean, dry surface from a distance of approx. 15 to 30 cm. For porous surfaces, apply to both sides.
Depending on surface properties and temperature, allow the applied adhesive layer to evaporate (approx. 10 minutes) until no threads form when tapping with your finger.
After airing time, position the parts and press firmly together.
After use, turn the can upside down and spray for approx. 2 seconds to prevent clogging.

This product must not be used in areas with insufficient ventilation. This product must not be used for laying carpets.

Kittifix Spray Adhesive – extra strong – non-correctable is an extra strong contact adhesive with high initial adhesion and a 3-way adjustable spray nozzle. It is ideal for both large and small surfaces. Thanks to its 3-way spray head system, it can be applied in a particularly targeted, clean, and economical way (high/medium/low), both horizontally and vertically.

The spray jet is not atomized but forms a fine mesh of threads that only coat the surface of the material to be bonded. This prevents soaking through and the formation of stains.

Die häufigste Arbeit im Historischen Modellbau ist das Biegen von Holz. Nahezu jedes zu verarbeitende Holz muss geformt werden. Es besteht als Grundgerät aus einem 20/30 Watt Lötkolben, auf den je nach Bedarf entweder die Form- und Biegespitze für dünnere Hölzer oder der Plankenbieger für stärkere Leisten aufgesteckt wird.

Das System ist selbstregulierend ausgelegt. Die einmal eingestellte Arbeitstemperatur wird gehalten, das heißt, das System ist für Dauerbetrieb ausgelegt (durch weiteraufstecken oder abziehen der Vorsätze wird die Temperatur geregelt).

Die zu biegenden Hölzer werden nur kurz gewässert, je nach Holzart zwischen 1 bis 15 Minuten in kaltes Wasser gelegt, dann herausgenommen und noch einige Minuten ruhen lassen. Das zu biegende Holz sollte gut durchfeuchtet aber auf gar keinen Fall klatschnaß sein. Die nasse Planke in die Öse des Plankenbiegers schieben, einen Moment warten (das in die Holzzellen gedrungene Wasser muß sich erwärmen), dann am anderen Ende der Planke drücken und die Leiste beginnt sich zu biegen. Selbst das Biegen von Hölzern um ihre Schmalseite für Handläufe, ist mit den Vorsätzen möglich. Dabei hat sich herausgestellt, daß der Durchmesser der zu biegenden Leisten mindestens ein Drittel der Breite betragen muß. Aber den besten Ratschlag den man einem Modellbauer geben kann ist, gehen Sie an ihre Restekiste, weichen Sie alle nur möglichen Hölzer ein und probieren Sie aus, was möglich ist. Lassen Sie einige Reste über Nacht im Wasser liegen und am nächsten Tag werden sie herausfinden welche Holzsorten eine längere Wässerung vertragen.
